Investment Committee

All loans and investments made by Wickham Securities, other than Permitted Investments, must have the unanimous approval of Wickham Securities Investment Committee. The Committee is chaired by Brad Sherwin and served by highly qualified professionals with extensive experience in the Australian banking and finance sectors. The other Investment Committee members are:

IAN MONTGOMERY

Ian Montgomery has been involved in the banking and finance industry since 1982. He spent his first twenty years with the National Australia Bank in various credit roles covering consumer, rural and commercial finance. In 1998 he established First Choice Finance. This business specialises in commercial finance for investors as well as some consumer finance. Additionally he provides consultancy services to property development businesses on how best to structure finance for their developments.

STEPHEN TURNER

Steve Turner has been involved in the banking and finance industry since 1983 and has extensive experience in property and commercial lending, from the analysis of loan proposals through to the management of non-performing loans. He has held senior management positions with National Australia Bank Limited. In 2002 he established Turner Consulting (Aust) Pty Ltd. He holds a Graduate Certificate in Management from The University of Queensland and an Advanced Diploma of Financial Services (Financial Planning), and is completing a Master of Business Administration at The University of Southern Queensland.

DAVID HENRY

David has been involved in the banking and finance industry since 1992. He has vast experience in all aspects of property finance including researching proposals from borrowers, assessing projects and the people involved and obtaining financial approval. From 2001 to 2006 he was a director of Ash Morgan Winthrop, a leading financial services company. Services provided involved commercial property finance, mezzanine debt lending and organisation and management of equity / joint venture opportunities.

Previously David had worked at Graham & Company Limited, Barnes Mortgage Management and Balmain NB Commercial Mortgages Limited. The common theme throughout these positions was the marketing, organisation, assessment and ongoing management of commercial mortgage loan proposals. David brings to Wickham Securities experience in property lending and a vast knowledge of the Australian property market. He holds a Certificate in Financial Markets from the Finsia (formerly known as the Securities Institute of Australia) as well as a Master of Applied Finance from the Queensland University of Technology and currently is a self-employed consultant in the commercial property sector.
